    Everyone has a box or album full of treasured old photos of family and friends.  Old black and white or the very old sepia or tintypes.  Photos that are worn, faded or torn but still to precious to throw out and too delicate todisplay.  Learn how to paint a new family heirloomfrom those old treasure photographs. 
    In this workshop you will be shown how to reproduce them in full and accurate color.  You will start with basic proportions and will be shown how to compose several portraits or figures into one painting.
    We will go into a breif history of fasion styles, accessories for specific time period and what type of backgrounds were used for those formal shots from the time periods so that you will be able to make an educated guess on the colors to choose for the garments worn in those photos.  The finished painting will be a wonderful gift to be handed down to furture generations.
